Monday Morning is here. I’m sure all you good people have those goal lists set up and are ready to take yet another week on with vigour and I hope that it’s an awesome week ahead for you all.
Among other things that I’m sure you also leave to a Monday is the start of your exercise regime. Am I right? Haha. On a serious note though, we are spiralling quickly towards the end of the year and you know what that means! Too much food, too much alcohol, which in turn is going to lead to you feeling fatigued and lethargic, slightly depressed and desperately setting up New years resolutions to transform yourself. . And although these resolutions are made with the best of intentions, we all know that 9 out of ten times, it never lasts past January.
Life is all about balance and the best advice that I can give you, is to start now and take baby steps so by the time you reach 2017, you will not be regretting any health choices and you’ll still be looking awesome.
Today I’m going to chat about a short and sweet, yet effective exercise plan that can help you keep those kilos off this Christmas
Kayla Itsines Summer Sweat Series
Have you heard of Kayla Itsines? No? Well, clearly you have been hiding under a rock. Kayla is a PT from Australia, that has developed various exercises which use minimal equipment, is high resistance and lasts only 28 minutes. There are 3 sets of exercises done 3 times a week focusing on legs, arms and abs respectively. Each day has 2 circuits. Each circuit is 7 minutes and should be done twice, therefore bringing you to a 28 minute workout.
Judging by the fact that she has a fitness community of over 10 000 000 woman all over the world engaging in her workouts, one can only deduce, that she is not only a popular personal trainer but clearly knows what she’s talking about. Her workouts are available on her app or as an ebook and you can find out more information on her prices etc here
Today, I’m going to introduce you to her FREE summer series. It’s a 4 week workout but has just 1 circuit instead of 2 and should be done twice thus bringing you to a 14 minute workout. Now, you can’t actually tell me that you cant spare 14 minutes 3 times a week to help you stay in shape.
