Welcome to the 3rd month of 2016. Wow, how time flies hey. I hope your year is turning out as awesome as you planned and I do hope that you’re working hard to achieve those goals. It’s been quite a busy and crazy start to the year for me and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to let up anytime soon. You all know that I love my smoothies and I have posted green smoothie recipes before, which you can see here and here
I must admit, I’m quite enjoying this new concoction I whipped up as I can’t taste the raw protein powder that I put in. I’m getting my protein, and my tastebuds are happy. It’s a win win situation.
These days I like to make a full jug of my smoothie. It lasts for about 3-4 days and it saves me time in the morning. Yeah, I’m organised these days. Hahaha. However for you, the recipe below is for 1 glass only.
- 2 cups Spinach
- Handful of berries
- Half a banana
- 1 ½ cups of orange juice.
- ½ scoop of protein powder
- Add all ingredients to smoothie maker.
- You can add ice if you’d like. Also, you can add more of the fruit, I tend to add less fruit. Less sugar, less calories.
