My basic beauty routine has always been Cleanse, Tone, Moisturise and once a week I would use a scrub and a mask. However, I have added to this basic routine over the years and one of the most recent beauty tool additions was my purchase of the Sorbet Facial Brush.
Now I have read about the benefits of facial brushes, but to be honest, some of the high end ones cost a pretty penny. So, when I happen to come across this beaut, for under R300, while strolling through the aisles of a clicks store, I did not hesitate to claim one for myself.
As much as you may believe you’re getting a proper cleanse with just the use of your cleanser….let me tell you…you don’t know what you don’t know and I am here to enlighten you.
Facial cleansing brushes is an awesome way to gently exfoliate your skin and remove makeup way better than just using your hands. And if that isn’t enough for you, it also allows your moisturizers and serums to penetrate better
I have very oily skin and by the end of the day, my face always feels grimy and in need of a good scrub. The Sorbet cleanser comes with 3 different brush heads as follows:
- Daily cleansing brush head: for quick removal of dirt and making skin look softer and smoother.
- High sensitivity brush head: for sensitive skin; and
- Exfoliating brush head: for deep cleansing.
Although, there is a brush for daily cleansing, I initially was hesitant to use it every day, but it really is so gentle on my skin, that I now use it every day. Although the recommended usage is twice a day, I use it only once, in the evenings.
Besides its cute look, this machine is quite easy to handle and best of all you can charge it with a usb cable, which is included. So you never have to experience the horror of running out of batteries
My ultimate conclusion of this budget buy: absolute love. My skin is happy which makes me not only look better, but feel absolutely fantastic.
